DFRobot A01NYUB Waterproof Ultrasonic Distance Sensor (28-750cm Detection Range)

The A01NYUB Waterproof Ultrasonic Sensor is a very useful device for finding out how far away something is, and it’s built tough for outdoor or wet places. It can measure distances from as close as 28cm to as far as 7.5 meters!

Because it's fully sealed (that's what IP67 means), you don't need to worry about rain, splashes, or dust getting inside and spoiling it. This sensor is designed to be a dependable Long Range IP67 Sensor that can still give good readings even if the air is a bit smoky or dusty.

Connecting this 750cm Ultrasonic Sensor to your project is easy because it talks using a standard UART serial connection, which is something most popular microcontrollers like Arduino or Raspberry Pi can understand without any fuss.

The UART Ultrasonic Distance Sensor works by sending out a sound pulse (that humans can't hear) and then listens for the echo to come back, calculating the distance accurately.
